Tifa is inside Don Corneo's Mansion that only grants access to girls. Cloud must explore the gigantic Wall Market for items to act as a disguse. Once inside Cloud, Tifa and Aeris interrogate Don Corneo who spills that Shinra have found out AVALANCHE's base in Sector 7 and plan to crush the entire Sector. Don Corneo the activates a trap door, Cloud and co are in the Sewers and must defeat Don Corneo's pet Aps. After the fight Cloud must navigate The Train Graveyard and prevent Sector 7's Pillar!

After defeating Hojo's specimen AVALANCHEs escape is stopped by The Turks. After learning President Shinra's intrest in the Ancient's AVALANCHE is taken to the holding cells. During the night the cell door is open and their is a trail of blood leading towards a body. President Shinra is slumped over his desk dead, Sephiroth has returned. However his son Rufus, the new President has arrived which leads to a escape on a motorcycle. It's now time to leave Midgar as Cloud begins the search for Sephiroth!

Sector 7 is destroyed, half of AVALANCHE is dead and Aeris has been kidnapped by Tseng of The Turks. However at Aeris house Marlene is safe and Cloud learns more about Aeris' Ancient heritage past. To rescue Aeris Cloud must reach Shinra's Headquarters but first climb up the wreckage of Sector 7 to get their. Cloud, Barret and Tifa must then explore the 70 floors of the building finding Aeris at the 68th floor. Here you will meet Shinra's Mad Scientist Hojo and a new party member Red XII!

With the Keystone in hand it's time to explore the Temple of The Ancients, for the Black Materia. The Temple itself is a maze filled some of the most dangerous enemies and traps so far. Further into the inner sanctum you will learn of Sephiroth's evil plan to become one with the Planet and one member of Cloud's party will have to make a sacrifice for the Black Materia!

After leaving Fort Condor you encounter a mysterious ninja called Yuffie in the forest, At Junon Harbour you must rescue a little girl named Priscilla then find a way to Junon. From here you will take part in Rufus' welcoming ceremony undercover and board a ship to the next continent!

AVALANCHE heads west through Mt. Corel where they find another Mako Reactor and must navigate high train tracks. Arriving at Barret's hometown North Corel a Mining Town burned up by the Shinra and which the townspeople blame Barret for. After learning about Barret's past we arrive in Gold Saucer a giant amusement park with eight areas. Cloud meets another new party member Cait Sith a fortune teller and after exploring the whole park Cloud finds another trail of blood. However the bodies have bullet holes!

When you reach Kalm, Cloud takes the opportunity to relate his experiences with the infamous Sephiroth. As the story unfolds, Cloud describes how he and Sephiroth were on their way to investigate a malfunctioning Mako Reactor at Nibelheim, Cloud's hometown. In the end what Sephiroth learned drove him mad. After exploring the quiet little town of Kalm AVALANCHE heads off chasing the man in black!

Cloud has a sureal dream of Aeris in the Sleeping Forest, which protects the City of the Ancients. In the dream she is going to stop Sephiroth on her own, but Sephiroth is on to her. When Cloud awakens, Aeris has left the group and you're inside the Inn at Gongaga. The team head for the Northen Continent. But to access the Sleeping Forest they need the Lunar Harp which can be found at a excavation site called Bone Village!

Having been arrested for crimes they did not commit, Cloud and AVALANCHE have been dumped in the isolated Corel Prison, they must find out if Barret is responsible for the murders. From their they will travel to Gongaga Village which contains a dense jungle and a wrecked reactor.

Next stop is Rocket Town, once the sight for Shinra's space program but something went wrong. Inside the rocket we meet the Captain, Cid Highwind Cloud's final party member. After learning about his past, Rufus and Shinra arrive looking to borrow the Tiny Bronco. A fight ensues, during the escape it crashes outside Yuffies hometown of Wutai. Yuffie then disappears with the Materia, leading to a chase across Da-chao Mountains and meetings with Don Corneo, The Turks and Godo Yuffies Father!

Aboard the Shinra Boat Cloud meets up with the rest of the team who sneaked onboard. But then an alarm sounds! A trail of dead bodies means Sephiroth is onboard as well as your first encounter with Jenova! After finally arriving at Costa Del Sol, AVALANCHE take a break and meet some familiar face's before heading to Mt. Corel!

Welcome to Choco Bills Chocobo Farm where Chocobo are bred and raised here for Chocobo Racing. To reach the Mythril Mine you must cross the Marsh and avoid the deadly Midgar Zolom. To do this Cloud must catch a Chocobo using greens as their are faster than the Giant Snake. At the Mythril Mine you encounter The Turks who are also looking for Sephiroth who is heading towards Junon. Before you get to Junon, Cloud comes across Fort Condor, home to a small band of rebels fighting against the Shinra!

You have arrived at the City of the Ancients a forgotten city that once housed the Ancients. During the night Cloud awakens to hear Aeris' voice calling him, further exploring you discover a crystalline city. Aeris is in the middle of the city, completely silent and locked in prayer. Sephiroths return is the end of the road for one member of AVALANCHE and results a heartfelt battle with Jenova. After this the team heads for Corral Valley Cave while Sephiroth flies away towards the Promised Land.

Nibelheim, Cloud and Tifa's hometown in the mountains according to Cloud's memories this be nothing but burnt earth. At the Shinra Mansion you will find Vincent Valentine a former Turk, layed dormant within in a coffin in the basement and Sephiroth heads off in the direction of Mt. Nibel for a Reunion. Following Sephiroth you must navigate the twisting paths of Mt. Nibel!

Our Heroes have paid their last respects to Aeris, now in full pursuit of Sephiroth they arrive at Icicle Inn a snowy resort where Cloud must proceed further via a snowboard. Then AVALANCHE must tackle the twisting paths of the Great Glacier where the party regroups at Mr. Holzoff's house!

After speaking to a Weapon Seller, you find out that you need a Keystone in order to enter the Temple of the Ancients. It's back to the Gold Saucer as Dio the owner has it, but Cloud will have to fight in the battle arena for it. At the Ghost Hotel Avalanche regroups, in the middle of the night Aeris and Cloud go on a date. However it seems one member of Avalanche is a spy attempting to steal the keystone!!
